How to Create a Miniature Christmas Ornament Advent Calendar
Create a Christmas advent calendar with ScriptCharms charms! This tutorial shows you how to transform our ever popular Scripture jewelry making charms into Christmas ornaments to adorn a miniature Christmas tree – a decoration that is sure to be treasured year-after-year.
1) Choose your charms.
Order a set of ScriptCharms jewelry making charms of your choice. You can order a set of 12 charms to create "The 12 Days of Christmas" or 24 charms to create the "24 Days of Advent."

Our Christmas Scripture Charms make a beautiful Christmas-themed tree. Order one or two set of 12. You can create multiple advent calendars with our Assorted Faith and Scripture Charms, which come in two different sizes.
2) Add a ribbon or hook.
Tie a ribbon through the loop of each charm or include a miniature ornament hook to transform your charms into miniature glass Christmas ornaments. We used 1/8" wide ribbon, cut to 8".
3) Individually package each ornament.
Package your ornaments into 12 or 24 packages to open each day. You can use small envelopes and label them with a number for each day (we used coin envelopes and printed labels) and put them in a pretty box, or purchase sets of advent boxes to fill, or even a reusable advent calendar with drawers.
4) Choose a miniature tree.
Purchase a miniature tree of your choice – found at craft and home decor stores. A 12" tree works great for 12 ornaments, and a taller tree for 24 ornaments.

5) Each day, open a beautiful glass ornament to add to your tree!
